Alphonsine Mukashema

Board Member

Ms. Mukashema desires to help community members to stay connected to their community, grow both personally and professionally, while working with them to create opportunities for progress, enhance their resilience and motivate them to achieve their goals. She wants the world to be a better place due to her contribution. 

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economic Science and Management from Kigali Independent University (ULK), which resulted in her becoming a Civil Servant at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rwanda Agriculture Board (RAB) for 13 years. 

She has extensive experience in the financial services sector, specifically in financial advisory and accounting. Ms. Mukashema is continuously enhancing her education to serve better and recently acquired a Project Management Certificate from Cornell University and E2E Supply Chain Management Certificate. She also earned a Real Estate Licence from Humber College, allowing her to help clients to invest in properties and live in their dream homes. Her passion is to make a difference in the business sector by prioritising client and company interests.

She has been involved in many organisations and community-based projects, including the Rwandan Canadian Inter-Agency Hub (RCIAH), where she held different leadership positions. Her approach to community building is a model that the Rwandan Canadian community is proud of; hence, the RCHC is honoured to have her on our Board. She has done remarkable work with volunteer engagement within the Canadian and Rwandan communities management.

She has three children, Alphonse-Marie, Cedric and Nicole, who are the loves of her life.
